Curiosity is a good thing
NUTREATS products all utilise high-grade freeze-drying techniques to capture the vast array of vitamins, minerals and complex nutritional compounds found in the raw products.
Traditional air-drying uses heat, which degrades and destroys many essential nutrients. By contrast, our specialised vacuum freeze-drying equipment has been specifically designed to retain as much of the goodness of the original product as possible.
As such, our products look exactly like the original raw material instead of being shrunken and compacted. Animals are highly sensitive, and they just love the natural smell, form and texture of our products.
What is your stance on animal testing?
NUTREATS should be kept in a cool place, sealed in their container or bag, but do not require refrigeration. This makes our treats ideal to take out and about, leave in the cupboard or glovebox, or in your jacket pocket ready for your next walk. Like any food, they will degrade if exposed to heat or moisture and then put back into storage.
For optimum safety, keep out of reach of children and animals.
Why do you only offer 50g packs of treats?
Because NUTREATS are a treat food, you only give them out one at a time as rewards for your animal, a pack should last you a while. A 50g treat pack is actually equivalent to 250g of raw meat or fish because the water has been removed by the freeze-drying process. But that is all that’s removed. Freeze-drying preserves all the other natural nutrients contained in the raw material, in a form that lasts for ages, and doesn’t leave a residue on your fingers when you touch it.
